This tutorial will be guiding you on how to root the Sony Xperia L in less than an hour – trust us its as easy as counting 1 plus 1, but do follow the steps very closely.

 

However before we begin, I would like to warn you that during the process of rooting, there is a risk of bricking your own device. So if you still want to proceed, you’ll be doing it at your own risk and we will hold no responsible for any form of damage on your device. Its a good practice for you to backup your device to an external source apart from your own SD Card.

 

* This procedure will only works on Sony Xperia L devices that run on 15.0.?.2.17 firmware with a locked bootloader.

 

  1. Download both the Xperia_L_ROOT_15.0.?.2.17.zip   and remountrebootfix.rar.
  2. Extract the files to your desktop.
  3. Enable USB Debugging on your device and also allow the installation of non-market applications.
  4. Connect the Xperia L to your PC using a USB cable.
  5. From the extracted folder of the Xperia_L_ROOT_15.0.?.2.17.zip   , double click on the run.bat to begin rooting the Xperia L.
  6. Follow the instructions on the pop-up.
  7. Congratulation! You’ve just rooted the Sony Xperia L!
  8. Now, go to the extracted folder of remountrebootfix.rar.
  9. Double click on the supersu.bat from the folder if you have SuperSu app installed on your device, or the superuser.bat if you have the superuser app installed instead.
  10. From the pop-up, confirm the root access on your Xperia L.
  11. Reboot the device for once….

I can’t give root access to the remountrebootfix because SU binary can’t be installed

EDIT:
I could solve! Just had to re-run the run.bat again and it worked!
